چکیده

Background: In this study 11 height and diameter prediction models were fitted evaluated for Himalayan Chir pine (Pinus roxburghii) in Jammu region of UT J K (India). The data collected from 50 permanent sample plots uneven aged stands Pinus roxburghii total 500 individual tree measurement used study. At initial stage all the resulted significant coefficients, besides various selection criteria’s also to test predictive performance models. results these criteria generated libraries R studio (version 3.5.1, 2018). further cross validated revealed Manfred (MG) Michaelis-Menten2 (MJ) described highest amount variation terms fit statistics more crucially with lowest error rate as compared other Methods: was carried out Data on 0.25 ha size.In order achieve stipulated objectives, Height trees forest division utilized Result: summary variable overall coefficients are presented. Almost statistical statistically which is an indication that capturing relationship important aspect context biological realism.

on translation of phatic communion and socio-cultural relationships between the characters of the novels

phatic communion is a cultural concept which differs across cultures. according to hofstede (2001), the u.s. tends to have individualistic culture; however, asian countries tend to have collectivistic cultures. these cultures view phatic communion differently. in individualistic cultures like u.s., phatic communion reflects speakers’ socio-cultural relationships in conversations. to see whether...

Height-diameter Relationships in Longleaf Pine and Four Swamp Tree Species

The scaling relationship between height and diameter is important for understanding the dynamic patterns of tree growth and estimating the accrual of tree biomass. Metabolic ecology predicts that tree growth follows a universal scaling invariant relative to the height-diameter relationship (i.e., no variation based on taxonomy or resource availability). Comparing field data for different tree s...

A predictive nondestructive model for the covariation of tree height, diameter, and stem volume scaling relationships

Metabolic scaling theory (MST) posits that the scaling exponents among plant height H, diameter D, and biomass M will covary across phyletically diverse species. However, the relationships between scaling exponents and normalization constants remain unclear. Therefore, we developed a predictive model for the covariation of H, D, and stem volume V scaling relationships and used data from Chinese...

Individual Tree Diameter, Height, and Volume Functions for Longleaf Pine

Currently, little information is available to estimate individual tree attributes for longleaf pine (Pinus palustris Mill.), an important tree species of the southeastern United States. The majority of available models are local, relying on stem diameter outside bark at breast height (dbh, cm) and not including stand-level parameters. We developed a set of individual tree equations to predict t...
